I have now bought three of these items because I have recommended to friends. Too bad the violet colour is no longer available. These cane stays make a unique and inexpensive birthday or Christmas gift for people who use a cane!

The cane stay is a "effort saver." I can place or balance the cane in a place that makes the cane easier to grasp or find after setting it aside to use my hands for something else. The cane isn't falling over every time I put it somewhere.
