II don't use this cane every day. I keep it in the car. Had it less than a year.. Yesterday the bottom third of the finish flaked off. All of it. I walked in to a shop and when I sat down I noticed black chips on the floor. Very unhappy.

Finish is not the greatest

Looked good at the beginning but the finish has seemed to scuff and chip easily. Maybe I am a little rougher in usage than I think I am. If I were to buy another cane I would probably go for natural finish as any blemish shows clearly on the black. It does the job and when I do not need it after my leg is healed I may buy a cane for trail walking.
