2045 - Able Tripod Traction Base - Available in four sizes
What a great alternative to a noisy and unstable quad cane.
It can be used on the bottom of any of our Offset , Straight Adj Aluminum canes and most of our wooden canes.
This revolutionary base is symmetrically designed for both left and right-hand use and is recommended by physicians for its lightweight easy-to-use design. It is perfect for use on a variety of difficult surfaces like sand or gravel. Here are some reasons why you should consider an Able Tripod Base:
- The specifically weighted rubber base is ergonomically designed to normalize gait in both neuralgic and orthopedic disorders.
- Their flexible traction base cushions each step reducing impact through the wrist and hand.
- They are lightweight and easy to use on stairs, unlike cumbersome quad canes or other tripods.
These bases are not intended for use on ice or snow or slippery surfaces.
Specifications
Please note: The Able Tripod Base has a very firm fit and was originally made to fit onto the shaft of an aluminum cane. Aluminum canes are uniform in size and therefore work well with this tip. The Able Tripod Base can also be fitted to a wooden cane; however, because wooden shafts are not all uniform in size we recommend that you call to confirm the correct diameter is ordered.
Caution: This product contains natural rubber latex.

Please note: This product will add approximately 1" to the total length of your cane (a regular tip will only add 1/2" to the length of a cane). This product will also add a weight of 8 oz.
